Assignments

God’s sovereignty reaches into all of our lives with our personal assignments and ministries. As well as congregational ministries we are supposed to help each other reach out to others and tell them of the gospel, or be used by God to bring them closer to him.

God knows who can reach who. The connections they share, the way that the gospels is presented to everyone of us as individuals. We are destined to reach out and connect with the people that we connect with. Minister to them help them in certain points in their lives.

Congregational Assignments

The purpose of the congregation is:

-Keeping each other focused on God, and his plan for our lives. To aid each other in looking to the cross when we get distracted. Reminding each other to be living sacrifices to be witnesses to God’s grace and the gospel.

-Helping each other with personal assignments when we can with advice and prayer. Reminding each other to do the assignments joyfully. Being mindful of each other and the type of ministries we have as individuals and as a congregation.

-Inspiring and encouraging each other to follow God’s plan. For our lives and for the lives of our families. Helping each other stay on the straight and narrow. Keeping each other from backsliding.

Personal Assignments

To be a living sacrifice not living for ourselves, but to bring glory and honor and praise to our God. Doing what God wants us to do not what we want to do. So sit, pray and ask what God wants you to be doing at this point in time.

-After getting confirmation and testing what the spirit lead you to do against scriptures.  Reach out to who you need to reach out to. But if God says be still then do what he says, sin is doing what God says not to do, or not doing something that God says is for you to do.

He makes us all, he designs us so we connect with others we are all different, but in our difference we connect with others that only we could connect with. There are certain people that only we as individuals can minister to.

These people are our assignments given to us by God. We are accountable to God for ministering to these people. Not saying that God needs us to bring this person to himself. But it is in our best interest to minister to our assignments.

To follow God’s plan for our lives to briefly be a part of that person’s life. What have some of your assignment been? What are your experiences with others, given divine guidance? Leave a comment or a testimony, I’m looking forward to hear from you.

Right now I think my primary assignment is a coworker. This person frustrates me to no end. It seems that they just won’t get the point. I try to be accepting, but they are hurting themselves, and blaming everyone else. I constantly remind myself that only the Holy Spirit can make us understand, and that but by the grace of God, there go I.

we mustn’t forget seeking through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with Him. Praying only for knowledge of His will for us and the power to carry that out.
Prayer and meditation are our principal means of conscious contact with God.
There is a direct linkage among self-examination, meditation and prayer. Taken separately, these practices can bring much relief and benefit. But when they are logically related and interwoven, the result is an unshakable foundation for life.
The actual experience of meditation and prayer across the centuries is, of course, immense. The world´s libraries and places of worship area treasure trove for all seekers. But what about some of us know how to begin? Well, we might start like this. First look at a really good prayer. Its author was a man who for several hundred years now has been rated a saint.
¨Lord, make me a channel of thy peace- that were there is hatred, I may bring love – that were there is wrong, I may bring the spirit of forgiveness- that were there is discord , I may bring harmony – that where there is error , I may bring truth…¨
